Paediatric radiology theming

About this project

Bespoke theming for a paediatric radiology department, transforming clinical scanning suites into calming, child-friendly spaces. The design uses nature-inspired projections, hand-painted murals and evidence-based colour therapy to reduce patient anxiety, improve cooperation during imaging procedures and shorten scan times. Reduced sedation requirements were reported by the clinical team following installation. Each suite was designed individually to reflect a distinct natural theme, giving children a sense of wonder and distraction rather than clinical dread.
